He is survived by: his children, Lisa Tarmey (Joe) of Mulberry, Jim Avey of Mulberry, Lanny Avey (Debbie) of Thola and Stanley Avey; his brother Kevin Rainbolt of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Ashley Bartholomew, Morgan Kenney, Hannah Juarez, Mattie Avey, Jonathan Wagner, Natalie Rice (Derek), RaeLynn Avey, Asa Tarmey, Zachary Tarmey (Shar), Angie Holley (Michael), Brian Avey (Dewyn) and Kateena. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
