It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Anna Whinnery of Mulberry, Arkansas, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William T. Allen and Mary McDonald Allen; her husband Thomas William Whinnery; her son Allen Dean Whinnery; her siblings, Rodrick Allen, James Allen, Buddie Allen and Isabel Surdoval; and her son-in-law William Henderson.

She is survived by : her children, Judith K. Henderson of Gray, Georiga, Jennifer Lynne Whinnery of Valdosta, Georgia and Vanessa Francia (David Francia) of Mulberry, Arkansas; her daughter-in-law Amy Whinnery of Casper, Wyoming; and her nieces, Dorene Hernandez and Linda Surdoval. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; four bonus grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren.
