She was predeceased by : her parents, Neamon Phillips and Lavina Anderson Phillips; her husband Walter T. Blansett, Jr.; and her brothers, John A. Phillips, Jerry L. Phillips and Charles R. Phillips.

She is survived by : her sons, Michael W. Blansett (Lil) of Chesapeake, James C. Blansett (Cheryl) of Little Rock and Douglas Blansett (Sheri) of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Valrie F. Blansett of Montros, Colorado, Christopher Wakefield of Colorado and Kyle E. Blansett of Colorado; her stepgrandson George Ross (Chelsea) of Austin, Texas; and her close friend Windel L. Crawley of Gurdon. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home - Glenwood (209 N 3rd St, Glenwood, AR 71943).
