We announce the death of Ruth Freeman of Natural Dam, Arkansas, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 99. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ruth will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Ruth will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Ruth’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart Mosley and Hazel Mosley (Wells); her husband Jay Freeman; and her daughter Terri Brown. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Taylor of Natural Dam, Janis Pipkins (Keith) of Natural Dam and Mitch Freeman (Patty) of Fort Smith. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Grandview Assembly of God (14542 N Hwy 59, Natural Dam, AR 72948). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Hall Cemetery (15126 State Hwy 59, Natural Dam, AR 72948).
