He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Sargent, Sr. and Ruth Madeline Sargent (Besaw); his sons, Kris and Kevin Sargent; his grandson Darrell Brunet; and his sisters, Ruth Quisty and Diane Atkinson.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Sargent (Musgrave); his children, Amanda Sargent (Allen Gauthier) of New Blaine, Arkansas and Darrell Sargent (Sunni) of Tyler, Texas; and his brother Ted Sargent (Florence) of Peru, Massachusetts. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
