He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Aaron Ashmead; his children, Jason Ashmead (Jill) and Lorna McAllister (Chris); his sister Lynnette Moren; his grandchildren, Christopher McAllister, Carrigan Jackson, Aaron McAllister, Gracie Walker and Chloe Ashmead; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Butts, Aubree Butts, Riley McAllister, Millie McAllister and Brooks Jackson. He is also survived by extended family members and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marlow Missionary Baptist Church (149 Grant 58, Sheridan, AR 72150). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
