Freddie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Freddie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Barber and Geraldine Barber (Gardner); his son Adam Barber; and his brother-in-law Larry Harris. He is survived by: his wife Linda Barber (Liles); his daughter Amy Riney (Alan) of Jonesboro; his sisters, Lyda Ann Harris of Strawberry and Glenda Austin (Jimmy) of Newark; and his pets, Millie and Tad. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; his church family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Newark First Baptist Church (524 W 7th St, Newark, AR 72562).
