He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Joseph Bigness and Mildred Lorraine Birlew Bigness; and his wife Carolyn Whitecotton Bigness. He is survived by: his children, Chris Bigness (Victoria) of Zion, Gloria Davis (Stephen) of Bethesda and Linda Smith of Newark; and his grandchildren, Brandon Bigness (Katye), Christy Swartz (Jonathan), Brent Davis (Tina), Jonathan Smith, Sara Smith and Todd Smith (Jessica). He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
