He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Echols Daniel of Florence and Charlotte Echols Dishon (Scott) of Florence, Alabama; his sisters, Linda Cook and Susan Kennedy of Melbourne, Florida; and his pet Spot. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
