He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan H. Sr. Brown and Emma Anders Brown; his grandfather Herbert Williams (Felix Brown); and his former wife Barbara Jean Dothard. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Borders (Herbert) of Newport and Deidra Fortson (Willie) of St. Louis, Missouri; his siblings, Shirley Williams (Eddie) of Newport, Arkansas and Dan Brown (Lynn) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; and his brother-in-law Alvin Dupens, Jr. of Newport, Arkansas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a lifetime of friends.
