He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifton Hawk and Eva Norris (Mofield); and his siblings, Billy Hawk, Charles "Pete" Hawk, Evelyn King and Charlene Milligan.
He is survived by : his wife Katie Hawk (Hembrey); his children, Michael Sexton (Ashley) of Edgemont and Melissa Newlun (James) of Farmington; his brother Boyce Hawk (Sonny) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Matthew Newlun of Newport, Michael Newlun of Farmington and Sarah Toddy (Joe) of Hinesville; and his great grandchildren, Kale, Alaina, Drew and Isabella. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
