He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Katherine "Momma Kat" Pruitt (Henry "Gent") and Vernice; his great-grandparent Willie "Big Jones" Jones (Nettie); and his aunts and uncles, Brenda Lee, Linda Pruitt, Mary Katherine Pruitt, Troy Pruitt and Willie Pruitt.
He is survived by : his mother Thelma; his daughter Erica Crump; his grandchildren, Kason, K'auri and Kaili (Taunikka Williams); his aunts and uncles, Betty Green (Jimmy), Shirley Walker (Loyce), Deborah Davis (Cleo), Pamela Gaar-Jeter (Richard), Veronica Gaar-Johnson (Dave), Charles Pruitt (Sylvialene), Jimmy Pruitt (Sonya) and Eddie Pruitt (Sharon); his great-aunts, Jessie Dean Jones and Mamie Jenkins (Walter); his aunts, Tillie Colter and Vivian Walker; and his friends, Dwayne Braxton, Lynette Taylor, Nina Taylor, Victoria McGee and Natoya Minor.
During the Covid outbreak, his support of his great aunt Jessie Dean was of great importance to her as a senior citizen.
