It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Sanborn (Newport, Arkansas), who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gladys had on those she encountered along her journey. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter F. and Gladys Hurley (Penninger); her sister Betty Ann Hurley Gardner (Robert); and her great-niece Melissa Myers West. She is survived by: her sister Bobbie Hurley Harper; and her nieces and nephews, Robin Sibley Terry (Mike), Ann Gardner Hearn (Frank) of Newport, Lee Gardner Elkins (Dennis) of Jonesboro, Dr. David Sibley (Holly) of Birmingham and Walter Gardner of Little Rock. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; great-great-great nieces and nephews; as well as a host of loving friends.
