With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Bridgeman of Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Bridgeman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his fathers, James Romig Bridgeman and Zula Taylor (Fisher); and his sister Peggy Taylor. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Bridgeman; his sons, Charles Dobbs, Rodney Bridgeman (Amy) and Scott Bridgeman (Christy); his grandchildren, Lacy Shelton (Bryce), Jacob Bridgeman, Josh Bridgeman (Charlie), Eli Dobbs (Ashlee), Olivia Owens (Travis), Emily Dubar (Dustin) and Madeline Snipes (Seth); and his sisters, JoAnn Foushee of Thida and Jean Sisk of Oil Trough. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel (2001 AR-367, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
