He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jane Kimberling and Dyer; and his sister Brenda Sue Boyd. He is survived by: his daughters, Misti Griffin of Jonesboro and Sara Stevens of Newport; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Griffin of Jonesboro and Raylynn Griffin of Jonesboro; and his brothers, Chuck Dyer of Newport and Sammy McClain (Jenny) of Batesville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel (2001 AR-367, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Watson Cemetery.
