He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Byrd and Nora Byrd (Hampton); his siblings, Pat Gaskins, Clara Asher, Raymond (Linda), Vernon (Tammy), Freddie (Ruth Ann), Calvin (Dorris), Orville "Gene" (Vickie) and Walter "Lee" (Evelyn); and his great-niece Charissa Byrd.
He is survived by: his close friend Krista Talburt; his siblings, Barbara Sue, Ethel (Marcus), Larry Joe, Glen (Julie) and Elvis "Gerald" (Robin); and his daughter Georgia Roshell. He is also survived by 4 Step-Children, 19 step grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews.
