Linda Davis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Davis of Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Clarence and Annie Lee Cantrell (Rains); her sons, Carl Newberry and James Davis, Jr.; and her brothers, Charles Cantrell, Vernon Cantrell, Auther Cantrell and Jerry Cantrell.

She is survived by: her husband James Davis; her children, Harold Davis (Michelle) of Newport, Suzi Norman (John) of Newport and Nellie Goza (James) of Swifton; her sister Anna M. Jones (Wayne) of Uno; and her close friends, Cheryl and Lane Smith of Swifton. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Arkansas Children's Hospital, or the Shriners.
