As Lois departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lois. Though Lois may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. E. Edwards (John Erby) and Iva Mae Edwards. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Nance of Newport; her son Melvin Nance, MD (Mindy) of Jonesboro, AR; her grandchildren, Andy Nance (Lacie) of Paragould, AR, Robin Watson (Chris) of Jonesboro, AR and Alex Nance of Jonesboro; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Bryden, Ella, Nova Nance of Paragould and Holly Watson of Jonesboro.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel (2001 AR-367, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
