He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Carter (Jolene) of Mantachie and Lonnie Carter, Jr. (Nicole) of Cleveland, Georgia; his siblings, Jimmy R. Carter of Jonesboro and Louise King of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandchildren, Amber Carter, Jacob Carter, Rachel Carter, Beth Kennedy (Taylor), Chris Carter (Chyna) and Andy Carter (Christine); his great grandchildren, JJ, Gavin, Asher, Cohen, Charlotte and Nora; and his niece Kim Fears (Mike). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
