He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Tim Williams (Jenny), Belinda Self (Bobby) and Diane Shipley; his grandchildren, Tara Self Williams (Sy), Derek Self, Will Shipley, David Shipley (Brittany) and Oscar Williams; his great grandchildren, Gentrye, Ross Williams, Peyton, Maddox and Drake Self; his stepson Mark Dawson (Tina); his stepgrandchildren, Marcus Wallis (Ashton), Aggie and Ansley Dawson; his sister Ruth McElrath; his nieces and nephews, Sandy Miser (Stacy), Maggy Sutherland (Dion), Muggs Goodman (Margaret), Michael Williams and Jeff McElrath; Avery and Case Wallis.

Paul was baptized by his son-in-law, Bob in 2013 and attended the Midway Church of Christ until the Covid epidemic.
