He was predeceased by: his parents, William Powell and Lola Powell; his wife Tammy Powell; his son Tommy Leon Powell; his grandchildren, Shayla Short and Joey Heinrich; and his siblings, William Lee Powell and Delphia Touhey.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna Dodson (Mark), Brenda Godair (Daniel), Lonnie Dale Powell, Doyle Ray Powell, Sherri Moldan and Dale Lynn Powell (Christine Baumgarner); his grandchildren, Misty Myers, Michael Myers, Jaden Godair, Jeremiah Godair, Jarrett Godair, Jasmine Godair, Layne Powell, Lydia Powell, Justin Heinrich and Tanya Heinrich; his great grandchildren, Cayden Jefferson, Addalynn Myers, Ryder Myers and Harper Godair; his siblings, Ann Daniel (Leon), Patrica Bennett, Johnny Powell (Brenda), Dean Powell and Leslie Gene Powell; and his mother-in-law Louise Reed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jesus Is Lord Family Worship Center (501 Redman St, Newport, AR 72112).
