She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gates and Mildred Gates (Cole); her husband Paul Eugene Turner; her former husband Ernest Evans, Jr.; her son-in-law Roger Breckenridge; and her siblings, Brenda Taylor, Harold and R. E. Gates.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Breckenridge of Newport and Brian Evans (Missy) of Cabot; her grandchildren, Mindalyn Breckenridge Hestir (Max), Andrew Paul Breckenridge (Rose), Laina Evans and Landon Evans; her great grandchildren, Ayva and Jaxton Breckenridge; and her brother Bobby Gates (Janas) of Newport.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
