He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Eva Statham Smith; his grandparents, Charley, Mamie Sue Statham, Millard and Lois Smith; and his father-in-law James Donald Clements.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Clements Smith; his children, Owen Taylor Smith and Whitley Irene Smith; his sister Kristen Watts (John) of Shreveport; his nephews, Hayden Watts of Little Rock and Jake Watts of New Orleans; and his mother-in-law Kathey Harwell. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
