He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ames and Lorine Harris Ames; and his sister Susan Leslie. He is survived by: his wife Deretha Ames; his children, Corey Ames and Michael Ames (Nicki); his grandchildren, Jared, Shelby, Sawyer and Samuel Ames; his daughter-in-law Crystal Ames; and his brothers, Gary and Clay Ames. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
