She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lowell and Kathleen Smallwood (Kelley); her husband Loyd L. Pittman; and her brother Michael Smallwood. She is survived by: her sister Kay Smallwood; and her children, James Pittman (Trinh), Kelley Pittman (Susan), Niki Kamarunas (Joe), Sarah Kahl (Greg) and Timothy Pittman (Dana). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Carol's honor may be made to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church.
