He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur Settles and Erma Jean Settles. He is survived by: his son Ian Settles of Jacksonville, Florida.; his siblings, Derek Settles (Tina), Daron Settles (Sandra), Angel White, Denise Hooks (Alvin) and Damon; his nieces and nephews, Alex Geiger, Jordan Settles, Jailyn Settles and Kelly Settles; his brother David Schleiff (Kim); and his nephews, Ben and Jake. He is also survived by friends, including his best friend.
