She was predeceased by: her mother Willie Lee Mitchell; her brother Willie Lee Mitchell, Jr.; and her daughter Ruthie Honorable. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Matthew, Carolyn Brown, Evelyn Gilbert, Dorothy Derico, Yolanda Stewart (Waymon), Frederick Jones, Thomas Jones, Ronnie Mitchell and Jimmy Jackson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
