Freda Nichols Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Freda Nichols of North Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sidney Steenburgen and Aimee Pauline Steenburgen (Davis); her husbands, Vandell, Janâ and Thurston H. Nichols; her children, Vandell and Amy Bell Schaefer; her grandson Scott Schaefer; and her brothers, Willie, Maurice, Woodrow and Howard Steenburgen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Anderson (Robert) of Wichita and Teresa Kenyon (Mark) of Mountain Home, Arkansas.. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
