He was predeceased by: his wife Maxine Harris; his parents, Wilburn Harris and Lula Haggard Harris; and his siblings, Auda Martindale (Melvin), Gaynelle Gray (Lloyd), Fayrene Harris, Ralph, Robert, Lester (Belle), Leo (Mary), Cleo (Irma), Willie (Bill) and Junior Harris (Louise).

He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Harris Lingo; his grandson Brandon Edward Lingo; and his sister-in-law Louise Harris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Ed's memoria may be made to American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Association.
