He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Maxiell of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Jason Maxiell (Brandi) of Southlake Texas, Del Rice Jr. (Yasmine) of Denham Springs, LA. and Ebony Hill of Hattiesburg, MS.; his great grandchildren, Jason Maxiell II of Southlake Texas and Kyndel Rice of Denham Springs, LA.; his niece Vera Maxiell-Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Frenchia Ellington and Jesse Lairry (Josephine); and his stepchildren, Caberta Bates (LC), Shawnta Brown (Tim) and William Belmont III.
