She was predeceased by: her father Calvin Shaw; her husband Russell Atkinson (Pop Pop); her grandsons, Jason Gwatney and Chris Macchiarella; and her brothers, Pat Shaw and Bill Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Atkinson, Jr. (Peg), Ric Atkinson (Gay), Anita Gwatney, Cathy Lamb (Gary) and Michael Wright; her sister Sherry Ray (Ronald); and her grandchildren, Rachel Williams (Cory), Russell Atkinson, III (Lauren), Claire Atkinson, Victoria Atkinson, Garry Newman (Valerie), Maggie Estes (Beau), Sam Atkinson (Michaela), Josh Gwatney (Carolyn), Jon Gwatney, Rebekah Lamb, Leslie Smith (Jeff) and Kendall Wright. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
