It is with sadness that the passing of Janis Whittiker of North Little Rock, Arkansas is shared. Janis, born on October 21, 1952, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Janis will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Janis by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Janis is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Janis’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Jones and Eva Jones; and her husband James Larry Whittiker, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, James Larry Whittiker, Jr. (Vickie) of Ward, Jeffrey Alan Whittiker, Sr. and Josh Whittiker (Denise). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Pentecostal Church (1401 Calvary Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72116). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
