He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Clark and Bertha Anderson Clark; and his sister Ruth Evelyn Ward. He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Brantley; his children, Denise Edwards (Jim) and John R. Clark; his grandchildren, Whitney Patterson-Steel (John), Caleb Edwards (Courtney), Molly Kurtz (Gabriel), Brenna Clark and Preston Lile Clark (Sandy); and his great grandchildren, Gabriella Kurtz and Walter Lile Patterson-Steel.
