He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Burks and Marjorie Bostic Burks; and his wife Janelle Burks. He is survived by: his sons, Greg Burks (Kim) of Lonoke, Todd Burks (Karen) and Chris Burks (Renee) of Sherwood; his grandsons, Parker Burks of Nashville, TN, Sandy Burks (Katy) of Conway, Addison Burks (Faith) of Sherwood, Scott Burks of Lonoke, Graham Burks and Mackenzie Burks of Alamogordo, NM.; his brother Don Burks (Carmelita); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Pehosh (Mike) of Bella Vista and Fred Holland (Kristina) of Washington.
