He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Ware, Sr.; his grandchildren, Charles Lewis, Jr. and Ryan Ware; his parents, Joseph Ware, Sr. and Alberta Ware; and his siblings, Erma Jean Walker, Virgil Ware, Leoma Walker, Joyce Jones, Shelmastine Jones, Floyd Ware and Alberta Hallman.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Ware; his children, Cheryl Turner (Ken), Angela Lewis and Jonathan Ware; his brother Johnny Ware (Joyce); his grandchildren, Cameron Bradley (Torey), DeAngela Morris (Edward) and Kyron Ware; and his great grandchildren, Jayshon, Chloe, Mackenzie, Lauryn, Edward IV, Charles and Mattisyn. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
