He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Ricks; and his daughter Crystal Ricks. He is survived by: his children, Antonio Ricks (Crystal), Yolanda Woods (Jon), Trina Mohn (Nathaniel) and Gloria Newsome (Ronnie); his sister Leatha Blacksher; and his parents-in-law, Adolph Hickman and Delores Baker.
