It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Douglas Wallis (North Little Rock, Arkansas), who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Noah and Maude Wallis; and his siblings, Blake, Dorsey, Wyeth Lee, Joe, Jimmy, Jacqueline, Daphne, Susan and Mary Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Lynn Wallis; his children, Scott Wallis (Cathy), Wade Wallis (DeAnna), Shannon McCoy, Robyn Reeves (Neal) and Jamie Ables; and his grandchildren, Brandon Wallis (Katie), Austin Wallis (Cheyenne), Brooke Harpole (Caleb), Sierra Elmore, Morgan Wallis (Jordan), Alyxiss Wallis-Vann (Lance), Chase Geary (Lindsay), Jamie Bell (Andrew), Rebekah Dancy-Harper (Mark), McKinley Ables and Jackson Ables. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and many other close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Larry's name to DAV – Disabled American Veterans.
