She is survived by: her children, Ronesia Watkins (Anthony), Darlene Smith-McClendon, ZoAnn Smith, James E. Smith, Jr. and Timothy A. Smith (Sharon); and her siblings, Ronnie Cooksey, Ruby Jean Cooksey, Carolyn Dixon, Edith Faye Cooksey-Abernathy and Joyce McDaniel (John). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
