He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Shepard and Alta Maxine Wilson Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lamm Nichols; his children, Richard Nichols and Susan Nichols Rice (Dustin); and his granddaughters, Morgan, Madison, Avery, Aubrey and Arden.
