With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger D. Pleasant (North Little Rock, Arkansas), born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on June 28, 2022 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Pleasant and Hannah Mae Pleasant; and his brother Emerson Pleasant. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Pleasant of Maumelle, Arkansas; his children, Rogerick Pleasant of Maumelle, Arkansas and Naporsha Pleasant Valentine (Justin) of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Justice, Nylah and Nolan Valentine of Atlanta, Georgia; his stepmother Earma Pleasant of Little Rock, Arkansas; and his sisters, Lynn Pleasant of Kansas City and Lisa Williams of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
