He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Ray and Gail Ray. He is survived by : his wife Sharon; and his extended family, Michael Ray, Laura Stacy, Connor Stacy, Chris Stacy and Annalise Sullenger.

Never one to ask for anything from another human being, Ron wished for memorial donations to be made to CARTI Cancer Center in North Little Rock, where Dr. Jauss and her staff provided nine years of truly compassionate care, becoming like family to him and Sharon.

“A friend that was hard to keep up with sometimes, he liked to travel. He had a rough 9 year stretch where I feel like he needed to get a tattoo that said , “Don’t worry about the mule, just load the wagon”. With Sharon’s support he kept the faith. He will be missed. Terry Fought”
