Ruth Ellen Bryant, 88, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on November 20, 2025 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on July 7, 1937 in Savannah, Tennessee to Otis and Maggie (Welch) Franks. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her dogs "Honey Bun, Tiny, Ginger, and Baby", cooking, and spending time with family.
Survivors include; eight children: Wanda Scott (Garl) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Martha Teague of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Donna Avery (Michael) of Brewton, Alabama, Shirley Bryant of Bryant, Arkansas, Norma Lawhon (Jack) of Bryant, Arkansas, Joseph Lee Bryant of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Anita Litchford (Todd) of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Sandra Jean Counts (Scotty) of Trumann, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by; her parents: Otis and Maggie (Welch) Franks; husband: Joseph Kint Bryant; one grandson: Randall Teague; two brothers: Floyd Franks and Clayton Franks; and three sisters: Marie Moore, Evon Pigg, Hazel Wright.
The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
