He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Byrd and Helen Marie Foust Byrd; his brother Billy Byrd; his nephew Jonathan Byrd; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Spinks and Sherry Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Gaye Spinks Byrd; and his brothers, Lowell LaDon Byrd (Don) and Danny M. Byrd. He is also survived by other relatives, and many friends.
