He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tittle" Chesshir and Beatrice Wise Chesshir; and his siblings, Thomas Holt Chesshir and Lillian Faye Chesshir Preston. He is survived by: his wife Mena Fleming Chesshir; his daughter Tamara Chesshir Tahat; his sister-in-law Shirley Hawkins Chesshir; and his son-in-law Ahmad Tahat. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home (7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72117). A committal service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
