He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Ledbetter and Nora Ledbetter (Abernathy); his wife Brenda Ledbetter; and his brothers, Clovis Ledbetter (Oweita) and Clois Ledbetter (Sue).
He is survived by: his children, Brent Ledbetter (Julia) and Deyan Goines (Kenny); and his grandchildren, Jake Ledbetter (Natalie), Tate Ledbetter (Abby), Cory, Adam, Brittany Hanna (Scott), Taylor, Victoria, Dylan Dowdy, Cody Dowdy and Brenna Goines. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thornton Funeral Home Chapel (211 Luzerne St, Mt Ida, AR 71957). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 551 Hog Jaw Rd, Oden, AR 71961.
