He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Wetherington and Agnes Evelyn Rutheford Wetherington; and his siblings, Frankie Mock, Terry, Perry Clark and Vonice Brown.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Bradshaw Wetherington of Caddo Valley, Arkansas; his stepchildren, Marlinda Francis of Caddo Valley and Wayne McArty of Caddo Valley; his brothers, Larry Ligon (Ardalia) of Bastrop and Calvin Francis (Kelly) of Arkadelphia; and his niece Shanne Mock of Hope. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and grandchildren.
