He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Whitley and Rellie Whitley; his wife Wilma Whitley (Wrinkle); and his siblings, C. D. Whitley, Dean Whitley, Lyndle Whitley, Bernice Smith, Charlotte Francis, Delphine Wright and Earnestine Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Whitley of Okolona and Denny Whitley of Bryant; and his siblings, Marlon Whitley of Malvern, Don Whitley of Malvern and Earlene Phillips of Oklahoma.
