She is survived by: her husband Willie David Waters; her children, Remond Thomas of Okolona, AR, LaKenya Thomas of Okolona, AR and JaKeela Thomas of Okolona, AR; her grandchildren, Shakira Thomas, Tanea Thomas, Malik Jones, Ariel Thomas-Jones, Diamond Jones, Kamiah Thomas, Jaylin McKnight, Malaysia McKnight and Harleigh Thomas; her great grandchildren, Malaia Jones, Kyrie Jones, Christian Jones, Mila Perry and Dallas Jones; her siblings, Kesha Post, Belinda Rainey (Michael), Patricia Meeks, Andrea Harvey, Jackie Morton, Trentiss Smith (Randy), Rachel Post, Grace Post, Harry Post, Wendell Post, Patrick Post, Zachery Post (Bridget), Wilson Meeks, Jr. (Brenda), Cedric Meeks, Wendall Post (Dana) and Dave Patrick Post (Ebony); her aunts and uncles, Rachel Vaugh, Martha Moore, Robert McGill (Roberta) and Rev. James McGill (Brenda); her mother-in-law Mary Sue Williams; her siblings-in-law, James Johnson Jr., Eddie Waters John (Tasha), Jackie Waters, Denethia McDaniel, Trina Jones, Lisa Adams and Veronica Spencer (Undra); her cousin Cassie McGill; and her close friends, Helen Miller, Maude Rogers and Lucille Sinclair. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (1517 Caddo St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (328 Meeks Rd, Okolona, AR 71962).
