Jessie Bernice Lewis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jessie Bernice Lewis of Ola, Arkansas, who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Douglas and Henrietta Bradley Douglas; her husband Hartsell Lewis; her siblings, Steven Douglas and Ina Faye Douglas; her children, Stevie Lewis, Karen Darlene Lewis and Paula Denise Orrell; her great grandchildren, Ashtin Lewis and Hattie Orrell; and her daughter-in-law Latricia Lewis.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Michael Lewis, Keith O'Neal Lewis (Carla) and Karla Ketchum (Rickey); and her sister Thelma Jean McAnulty. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; fifty three great great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cornwell Funeral Chapel (207 Quay St, Dardanelle, AR 72834). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
