He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Chopp and Marie Chopp (Kaun); his former wife Gerda; and his brother Calvin Chopp. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Chopp; his children, Annette (Dan Hugen) and Brent Chopp; his stepchildren, Kerri Couch (Gary), Ronnie Canard (Vicki) and Brian Canard; his niece Brenda Conti (Bobby); his grandchildren, Heather Wallace (Jeremiah), Autumn Brumett (Matt), Noah Hugen (Maddie), Brandon Chopp and Tyler Chopp; his stepgrandchildren, Tarrah Couch, Kelli Jelks (Mark), Blake Canard (Ashlynn) and Paige Akins (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Canyon and Stratton; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cash, Jolene, Raylee, Georgie May and Everett. He is also survived by neighbors, and friends.
